DELIVERY INFORMATION
SUPPLY OF FULL KITCHENS:
Delivery will only be scheduled once an
order has been confirmed and
we have a cleared payment.
Our kitchen supply service is nationwide on the mainland of
England, Wales and Scotland, and most areas have a delivery
once a week. Most items are held in stock so we can therefore
normally deliver within two/three weeks of order being confirmed,
Saturday and Sunday excluded. You
will be advised within 48hrs of your order of the expected
delivery day.
URGENT SUPPLY OF FULL KITCHENS:
If you require an
URGENT Delivery of a Full Kitchen (WITHIN
1 WEEK OF ORDER) please contact us by EMAIL or PHONE,
we can be flexible and will assist if wherever possible.
INDIVIDUAL COMPONENTS:
If you are ordering individual components we
will inform you of the estimated delivery day, this is usually
within 2/3 weeks. Delivery costs are added at the checkout stage
and are not included in the price of the individual
components. Depending on the size of the order we may use our
own delivery vans. In some cases we may be able to use another
postal or courier service and therefore will be unable to
guarantee the exact time of delivery.
GOODS OUT OF STOCK:
We will contact you if
an item is out of stock and offer a substitute or request
further instructions. (It’s important we have a mobile or
day time phone number) If we are unable to contact you and
a substitute is not available the item will be marked
To Follow. This item will
automatically be sent out when back in stock. Information on
items out of stock is avaialble on request only.
DELIVERY COST:
These are not included in the price of the
supplied kitchen and are added at the checkout stage. This is
£60 per delivery for a full or part kitchen. For any delivery
to Central London the delivery charge is £100 per delivery (within
the congestion zone area). Scottish Highlands (North of
Glasgow & Dundee) are also subject to a surcharge.
DELIVERY DAY:
We use our delivery vans and will deliver
the Kitchen to your door. We will contact you the day before
delivery to confirm someone will be in to sign for receipt of
the kitchen. (It’s important we have a
mobile or day time phone number). We may at our
discretion Email the information to you.
DELIVERY TIME:
We are unable to specify
an a.m. delivery as the route of the van run is determined by
the number of deliveries and the area covered. Most van runs
are now over two days. Information on run schedule can only be
given when the vans are loaded. If required please advise on
the day before the van run commences.
ACCESS & UNLOADING:
If there is restricted access for an 18 ton
lorry we must be advised (7 days notice required).
Delivery is made to “kerb-side”. You
will be required to provide adequate assistance with the
unloading, if this is not possible please advise as an
additional charge may apply.
CHECKING OF GOODS ON DELIVERY:
We ask that all products are checked for
damages on delivery to ensure customer satisfaction, any
problems can then be resolved as soon as possible. (It's
in your interest to check).
Any delivery signed
unchecked is not acceptable and the order will be deemed to
have been correct on delivery. The driver must report any
errors before he leaves and mark delivery notes clearly of
action taken.
Any errors found after
the driver has left then refer to Exchange / Return / Carrier.
WE UNDERTAKE:
To make every effort to
ensure that your order is delivered correct but we rely on you
to check the quantity and colour of the goods received when
signing for the delivery.
PRODUCT COLOURS:
The colour of the goods
viewed on our website may vary from that of the actual goods.
Colours may also vary from different batches of production.
This is why you should inspect the goods as soon as
practicable and make use of the cancellation provisions below.
SAFETY:
You must always read the
manuals and safety instructions either printed on the package
or provided with the goods before you or your contractor carry
out any installation or use the goods supplied. Many of our
products require connection to utility services like gas,
water or electricity. If you are unsure about installing any
products, please seek professional advice.
EXCHANGE:
Goods will only be
exchanged F.O.C. if the goods to be returned are available at
time of delivery. If for whatever reason the goods to be
returned are not available then payment will be required for
delivery and credit given off next delivery when the goods are
collected. Please quote our original Invoice number for the
goods to be exchanged.
RETURNS:
Goods will
only be collected by prior arrangement and the driver must
have a collection return note for those items. You must inform
us of the cancellation within the relevant time scale (See
terms and Conditions) by emailing us at
cancellation@buyingdirect.co.uk then we shall inform you of a
return reference number and the location to where the goods
should be returned. Please quote our original Invoice number
when requesting goods to be returned.
A 30% handling charge will be applied to
goods over ordered or
anything being returned not for
exchange.
Due to high transport costs these will not normally be
refunded and collections will be charged for.
CARRIER:
Goods will
only be sent by carrier if payment has been received prior to
the goods being dispatched. A charge will be made for p&p on
mail order deliveries. (We are unable to guarantee Saturday
or A.M. deliveries) |
